Photo jobs

Quick answer

No name on the camera means the photo will not hand in.

Buy the camera from the pizza computer, misc section, before you leave the shop. Every photo job in this game uses the same rule, stated by the developer on Steam: the camera must print the subject's name along the bottom of the shot. No name means the photo will not hand in. That covers Sierra, a store, a bin, a night creature, and a prisoner.

Photograph 4 prisoners

The hand-in is the cop by the station. The developer reply on the stuck-quest thread is the part to trust: two prisoners are out in the world, and two arrive as shady-window customers. It is not a missing fourth spawn.

Players who finished it, and whose breakdown the developer marked as correct, describe the four like this:

WhoWhere players found them
SteveStanding in front of the police station
SilasBy the tree behind the pizza shop
Man in an orange jumpsuitShady window, over time. Not the same visit as the woman
Woman in an orange jumpsuitShady window, over time

A second player report puts one prisoner to the right of the shop and one who walks into the shady window in the jail outfit. Those two lines agree on the split: do not spend a week searching the map for all four. Leave the back window open and photograph each jumpsuit when the camera prints a name. The same person twice does not count.

If the tracker has sat there for many in-game days and only one jumpsuit customer repeats, that matches reports from July. The developer still said the mission was not bugged, and one player cleared it by waiting the window out. 1.02's quest reset covers washing, incinerator, and item quests such as Eleanor's chest. It does not say it resets this photo job.

Creature photos

This is the night job players call Mark's, or the Markiplier creature mission. The camera line you need is Night Creature.

DoDon't
Go out after 22:00. Players also report them through the early morning, roughly until 06:00Walk up to the red lights
Scan woods, the lake, tunnels, remote corners, trees behind the hangersTreat the three figures behind the watchtower as the only set. One player photographed those and the hand-in still refused them
Zoom from a distance. They read as tall, dark, red-eyed, or as small red lights deeper in the treesAssume one close-up of a group counts as three

Three photos of the same creature were accepted in at least one player report. The developer later shipped a hotfix that made this mission easier to photograph. 1.0 also updated the nighttime creature's look, so an April screenshot of the model may not match what you see now.

Sierra Bloom

She is a front-counter customer, not a marker on the TAB map. Players describe a green bikini and sunglasses. The developer said there was no spawn bug when someone ran the shop for days without seeing her: the front has a lot of NPCs, and she shows up in that rotation.

Enzo's photo task uses the same name rule. A shot of her at the counter only counts if the camera prints Sierra. Players who had the name on screen and still got a refusal should update the game — the developer said they had retested that quest — and take a fresh shot rather than recycling the stack Enzo already rejected.

Other photo hand-ins

Hammer Hank's store photos follow the same rule. One player cleared a bugged hand-in by resetting and photographing his store until the camera printed the store name. Bin and trash photos work the same way. If the bottom line is blank, delete the shot. It will not become valid in the inventory.
